A loving picture book story about being different.

Teddy Thomas doesn't want to be a teddy bear anymore. He would rather be called Tilly, because he has long felt that he is actually a female teddy bear. He doesn't dare tell his best friend about it. But he can talk about anything with Finn, and Finn assures him that he will always love him, whether his name is Thomas or Tilly. Tilly is relieved, and their friendship has grown even stronger. This picture book is about much more than just transgender people. It is a magical picture book story about the courage to be different. It is about compassion, acceptance, tolerance, and above all, unconditional love. A book that empowers children.

FAQ

How do I properly care for cotton clothing?

We recommend washing the octopus sweater inside out at 30 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 800 rpm in a washing machine or by hand. It should not be tumble dried. After drying, the sweater can be ironed on a medium heat setting.

Where do your materials come from?

Our kids' sweaters: Our kids' sweaters are mostly made from secondhand, leftover, and surplus fabrics. We want to use what's already available in the world as much as possible. Of course, we pay attention to quality when purchasing the fabrics.

Newly purchased fabrics: The fabrics we purchase are manufactured exclusively in Europe, are made of 100% cotton (organic) and are subject to the highest ecological and social standards.

Where do you make your clothes?

Our clothing is manufactured exclusively locally in Berlin or in partner workshops in Germany. Through our work, we raise awareness for local sewing crafts and contribute to preserving the craft.

Can I pick up my order locally?

Sure! Our workshop is located in Berlin Kreuzberg. You can simply choose the "local pickup" option later during checkout, saving you the shipping costs.
