In this book we get to know the crème de la crème of animal inventors: we meet the shark, which was the model for a swimsuit that makes us so fast that it is banned at the Olympic Games. The termites invented houses that stay cool inside, even in the desert. We got help from the Eisvogel for the construction of trains that go much faster and are very quiet. We learned from the bees that a hexagon is the perfect shape. We find the eagle eye built into the smallest cameras. And the birds also showed us how to fly.
The animal engineers always have one thing ahead of us: Everything they invent is environmentally friendly and leaves no waste behind. But who knows? Perhaps we humans will one day adopt this knowledge from animals...

How do I properly care for cotton clothing?
We recommend washing the octopus sweater inside out at 30 degrees Celsius and a maximum of 800 rpm in a washing machine or by hand. It should not be tumble dried. After drying, the sweater can be ironed on a medium heat setting.
Where do your materials come from?
Our kids' sweaters: Our kids' sweaters are mostly made from secondhand, leftover, and surplus fabrics. We want to use what's already available in the world as much as possible. Of course, we pay attention to quality when purchasing the fabrics.
Newly purchased fabrics: The fabrics we purchase are manufactured exclusively in Europe, are made of 100% cotton (organic) and are subject to the highest ecological and social standards.
Where do you make your clothes?
Our clothing is manufactured exclusively locally in Berlin or in partner workshops in Germany. Through our work, we raise awareness for local sewing crafts and contribute to preserving the craft.
Can I pick up my order locally?
Sure! Our workshop is located in Berlin Kreuzberg. You can simply choose the "local pickup" option later during checkout, saving you the shipping costs.
